Liverpool and Manchester City are reportedly closely monitoring Jack Wilshere's contract situation at Arsenal.
Wilshere, 26, has worked his way back into the Arsenal first team this season, but there has been no breakthrough in contract talks, and the midfielder will see his current deal expire at the end of June.
Speaking on England duty earlier this week, Wilshere revealed that he wants a decision on his future to be made before the 2018 World Cup begins this summer.
AC Milan and Juventus have both been strongly linked with the midfielder, but according to The Mirror, Liverpool and Man City are closely watching developments as the Premier League pair consider making an offer.
Wilshere, who has scored twice in 31 appearances for Arsenal this season, is currently with the England squad preparing for the upcoming international friendlies with the Netherlands and Italy.
