Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen to bring Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah to Anfield.
The 20-year-old was in Arsenal's academy for seven years, but he left the Gunners without making a first-team appearance, arriving at Valencia in the summer of 2019.
Musah has been a key player for Los Che over the last couple of seasons, while he has again been a regular this term, featuring on 14 occasions in all competitions, including 13 outings in La Liga.
The United States international has a contract at Mestalla until June 2026, but there is currently speculation surrounding his future with Valencia.
According to Fichajes, Liverpool have emerged as genuine contenders for Musah's signature, with the club's head coach Klopp a huge admirer of the young midfielder.

There is also said to be interest from Chelsea, in addition to former club Arsenal, but Liverpool are viewed as the favourites to sign the midfielder during this summer's transfer window.
Musah recently said that he is "really happy at Valencia" but refused to close the door on a return to the Gunners at some stage in the future.
"You never know. I had a great time at Arsenal developing there, I still have friends there, the coaches were great, being an Arsenal player in general is great," Musah told CBS Sports.
"I loved playing for Arsenal. I've nothing against the club and if one day it turns out to be that it's time to go back then it's possible. For now I'm really happy at Valencia and I'm looking forward to carrying this season on in the same way we're doing now."

Klopp is expected to sign a couple of central midfielders during this summer's transfer window, with Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham also said to be a leading target.
However, the Reds will face firm competition from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City for the 19-year-old, who starred for England at the 2022 World Cup.
Musah would represent a much cheaper option than Bellingham, with the latter likely to cost in excess of £100m at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Valencia midfielder will not turn 21 until November, but he has already represented his current team on 84 occasions in all competitions, scoring five goals and contributing three assists in the process.
