Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has signed a two-year deal with Russian Premier League outfit Arsenal Tula.
The 24-year-old, who came up through the Gunners' youth academy, moved to Russian side FC Ufa in 2014 after brief stints with Barnsley, Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Last season Frimpong made just eight appearances for his side and received two red cards, including one for flipping a middle finger at supporters whom he accused of making racist monkey chants.
In April Ufa said that the player's contract had been terminated by "mutual consent" and Frimpong moved to the US, where he had a trial with MLS side Sporting Kansas City.
Confirming his move to Arsenal Tula, Frimpong wrote on Twitter: "I hope we can have a fantastic season and I can repay (your) debt."
Ufa - a city located around 200 miles south of Moscow - finished 12th in the RPL last season.
