Manchester City are prepared to pay Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez £320,000 per week should he move to the Etihad this summer, according to a report in the press.

Manchester City are reportedly willing to pay Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez £320,000 per week should they be able to secure the forward this summer.

Sanchez's Arsenal future has arguably been the most protracted story of the current window, after conflicting rumours surrounding his status at the Emirates.

Some reports have suggested that the Chile forward has demanded as much as £400,000 per week to remain at the Gunners amid reported interest from a number of European clubs, including Pep Guardiola's City.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, City are now thought to be prepared to offer the frontman a deal close to those demands should they be able to persuade the Gunners to part with their key forward.

Sanchez currently has one year remaining on his contract at the Emirates, leading to speculation that he could depart next summer on a free should a move away not transpire this summer.
