Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Bruno Lage has commented on rumours linking Pedro Neto with a move to Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta is believed to be looking to sign a winger before the transfer window closes, with Nicolas Pepe set to leave the club.
A recent report suggested that the Gunners identified Neto as a possible option, and they are hoping to negotiate a deal before the transfer closes on September 1.
Despite the speculation surrounding Neto, Lage has claimed that he knows "nothing" about any potential transfer involving Neto.
Speaking after Wolves' 2-1 victory over Preston North End in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, the Wolves boss said: "I heard about that, but nothing has come to us. It's normal to have this interest - but no one told me nothing about any proposals, so I cannot confirm nothing."
Wolves are reluctant to sell the 22-year-old, who has five years left on his current contract and has started all three of the club's Premier League games this season.
Arsenal are said to be prioritising the departure of Pepe before they consider signing a replacement.
