Arsenal have reportedly stepped up their interest in Swedish forward Emil Roback ahead of a potential summer deal for the teenager.
The 17-year-old has supposedly attracted the interest of the Gunners and Bayern Munich following his displays at youth level for Hammarby, and Roback made his debut for the senior side in their Svenska Cupen quarter-final defeat to IFK Goteborg.
Hammarby's sporting director Jesper Jansson has since revealed that the striker has visited Arsenal's London Colney training ground as Mikel Arteta's side look to secure a deal for Roback.
"There is a strong interest ...he has also been to Arsenal," Jansson told Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt.
"I understand the interest. He is a forward with a great physique and speed and already a skilled scorer."
With Arteta set to be working with limited funds during the summer transfer window amid the coronavirus pandemic, Roback would represent an ideal signing for the Spaniard in this period of financial uncertainty.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are supposedly open to parting ways with midfielder Matteo Guendouzi as they look to improve their squad ahead of next season.
