North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the race to sign Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans before Thursday's transfer deadline.
Ligue 1 strugglers Monaco are understood to have made Tielemans available in the closing stages of the window, in particular alerting Arsenal as they consider loan reinforcements for their midfield.
The Gunners are reportedly interested in a loan until the end of the campaign with no obligation to buy, while Spurs are also considering a temporary short-term deal.
However, Metro claims that both clubs will have to face competition for his signature from Leicester City, who are attempting to thrash out a swap deal with Adrien Silva.
Newcastle United and West Ham United have also been credited with an interest in the 21-year-old, who is eager to test himself in the Premier League.
Tielemans was withdrawn from the Monaco squad to face Guingamp on Tuesday evening and is now expected to travel to England in order to complete a move, with Leicester thought to be in the driving seat as things stand.
