Arsenal are reportedly resigned to having to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal reportedly expect to have to part ways with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during the summer transfer window.

Despite having scored 61 goals from 96 appearances since moving to the Emirates Stadium in January 2018, the Gabon international is being continually linked with an exit due to having just 15 months left on his contract.

The Gunners are eager to keep hold of the 30-year-old for the next phase of their rebuilding process under Mikel Arteta, which will likely see fresh additions made later in 2020.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Aubameyang's wage demands are expected to result in the sale of the top goalscorer ahead of the next campaign.

The report claims that the attacker is looking to earn more than a 30% pay rise in order to remain at the North London outfit in the long term.

Unless Arsenal are able to qualify for the Champions League over the coming months, agreeing to such a request is deemed highly unlikely.
