Long-term Arsenal transfer target Houssem Aouar is reportedly eager for an exit from Lyon this summer.
The 23-year-old is believed to have arrived at Lyon's training ground on July 1 to meet new boss Peter Bosz, but he has not been training with the rest of the group.
Lyon have said that Aouar is not training with the squad at the moment due to illness, however his absence has sparked speculation of a move away from the Ligue 1 outfit.
According to football.london, the midfielder is disappointed with Lyon's decision to allow Memphis Depay to join Barcelona, and now the Frenchman wants to follow suit.
The Gunners failed to secure Aouar last summer when they could not meet Lyon's demand of more than £50m for the Lyon-born player, but it is claimed that he will now be available for £20m after Lyon did not qualify for next season's Champions League.
However, Arsenal could face strong competition from Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, who can all offer Champions League football to Aouar.
