Team News: Arsene Wenger names attacking lineup for visit of Fulham

Arsene Wenger hands a start to Theo Walcott in an attacking Gunners lineup for the visit of Fulham this afternoon.

Arsene Wenger has named an attacking lineup for Fulham's visit to the Emirates this afternoon.

The Arsenal manager has selected Olivier Giroud to lead the line and the Frenchman will be supported by the trio of Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski.

Jack Wilshere is missing from the XI because of his red card at Manchester United last weekend while Thomas Vermaelen starts at left-back instead of Andre Santos, with Laurent Koscielny joining Per Mertesacker at centre-back.

For the visitors, Martin Jol makes three changes in midfield as Damien Duff, Mahamadou Diarra and Alexander Kacaniklic make way for Kieran Richardson, Steve Sidwell and Ashkan Dejagah.

Arsenal: Mannone; Sagna, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Vermaelen; Coquelin, Arteta; Walcott, Cazorla, Podolski; Giroud

Fulham: Schwarzer; Riether, Hangeland, Hughes, Riise; Dejagah, Baird, Sidwell, Richardson; Ruiz, Berbatov
