John Terry starts for Chelsea at Arsenal despite being handed a four-match ban, while Thomas Vermaelen returns for the Gunners.

Arsenal and Chelsea have both made one change since their last Premier League outings for today's clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Defender Thomas Vermaelen returns in place of Per Mertesacker for the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo selects John Terry as captain, despite the 31-year-old being found guilty by the FA of racially abusing Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand.

Terry was handed a four-match ban, however he is available today as he has not yet made a decision on whether to appeal or not.

Gary Cahill makes way for the former England skipper.
