Team News: Cesc Fabregas in for Chelsea, Arsenal unchanged

Cesc Fabregas is recalled to the Chelsea lineup to face an unchanged Arsenal side at the Emirates.

Cesc Fabregas has been recalled to the Chelsea lineup to face an unchanged Arsenal side at the Emirates this evening.

The 29-year-old returns to the Blues XI to face his former side as Oscar drops down to the bench.

Antonio Conte makes no other changes to the side that were defeated 2-1 by Liverpool at Stamford Bridge eight days ago, with Diego Costa continuing to lead the line with support from Fabregas, Willian, Nemanja Matic and Eden Hazard.

N'Golo Kante operates in a defensive role just in front of a back four comprising Branislav Ivanovic, Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta.

Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger sticks with the XI that claimed a 4-1 victory at Hull City last time out as he attempts to take rare league points from his London rivals.

Alexis Sanchez continues as a lone striker up front, with attacking support from Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi.

Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla operate at defensive midfield in front of Nacho Monreal, Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi and Hector Bellerin.

Elsewhere, Olivier Giroud overcomes a late fitness test on a knee complaint to start the game on the substitutes' bench alongside Lucas Perez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Cazorla, Coquelin; Walcott, Ozil, Iwobi; Sanchez
Subs: Ospina, Holding, Gibbs, Xhaka, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Perez, Giroud

Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, David Luiz, Azpilicueta; Kante; Willian, Fabregas, Matic, Hazard; Diego Costa
Subs: Begovic, Marcos Alonso, Chalobah, Oscar, Moses, Pedro, Batshuayi
