Arsene Wenger admits that Arsenal are not in "an ideal situation" to win the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that his side's current position in the Premier League is not "ideal" for them to win the title this season.

The Gunners drew 3-3 with Fulham at the Emirates on Saturday to remain seventh in the table, 11 points behind leaders Manchester United.

"That is not an ideal situation," said Wenger. "We have shown before we can fight and again today that we can fight.

"There are a lot of positives in our team. At the moment, we do not get the points we want.

"Of course, we now do not have to waste any more time, but I still feel there is good potential in our side."

Arsenal finished third in the Premier League last season.
