Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has admitted that he is 'missing' former teammate Robin van Persie this season.
The England international, who has had his own future at the Emirates questioned in recent months, assisted eight of Van Persie's 37 goals last season before the Dutchman opted to move to Manchester United in the summer.
"I do miss him but you've just got to get on with it and wish him all the best," said Walcott. "You always miss your best players and he's a great man and great professional."
The 23-year-old netted a brace in the Gunners' 6-1 win over Coventry City in the League Cup last night.
