Aaron Ramsey: Alexis Sanchez "never gives up"

Aaron Ramsey praises Alexis Sanchez's attitude after the Chile international scores the winning goal for Arsenal against Southampton.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey was quick to praise match-winner Alexis Sanchez after the Chilean scored the only goal in their victory against Southampton on Wednesday.

The ex-Barcelona striker netted his 14th goal in 22 appearances for the Gunners with just two minutes of normal time remaining, and Ramsey was delighted with the contribution of his teammate.

He told BT Sport: "He never gives up and he was in the right place at the right time again and it took us [a long time] to break them down, but we did it in the end.

"We never go into a game wanting to draw it, we always want to win the game and we did that tonight. We kept playing and kept believing."

The win moves the Gunners up to sixth in the Premier League.
