Petr Cech focused on beating Chelsea

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech says that he is looking to take all three points against former club Chelsea when the sides meet on Saturday.

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has stated that he is planning to increase the pressure on former club Chelsea when the sides meet this weekend.

The Czech stopper will return to Stamford Bridge for the first time on Saturday since leaving the Blues to join Arsenal over the summer.

Defending champions Chelsea have taken just four points from their opening five league games, and Cech has said that he is focused on claiming the win against Jose Mourinho's side.

"I have never played at Stamford Bridge in the visiting team so it will be a new experience for me," Cech told the London Evening Standard. "I go to a familiar place but most important for me will be to win the game. That's the way it goes.

"Obviously it will be new to play against Chelsea but when you start playing the game the only concern you have is 'can I play my best game and can we win?'

"In a way it is nice that I spent so much time there. That I know every corner of the stadium and the space, so for me there will be no surprises."

Arsenal are currently fourth in the standings, five points behind leaders Manchester City.
