Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini: 'Arsenal still in Premier League title race'

Manuel Pellegrini believes that Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all in the Premier League title race.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes that Arsenal are still in the Premier League title race.

The Gunners slipped to fourth in the table following their 6-0 away defeat to leaders Chelsea on Saturday and are now seven points off the pace.

However, Arsene Wenger's side have a game in hand, while City, who are six points behind the Blues, have three.

"I don't think it's just between Chelsea and Man City as favourites," BBC Sport quotes Pellegrini as saying.

"We must continue considering what Liverpool are doing because they are playing well and scoring goals.

"Arsenal had a bad game but are seven points behind Chelsea with one game in hand so the four teams have the same chance to win the title."

Liverpool are currently second in the table, four points behind Chelsea, and have a game in hand.
