Sol Campbell warns Arsenal of the threat posed by Gareth Bale ahead of their clash with Tottenham Hotspur today.

Sol Campbell believes that Arsenal must be wary of Tottenham Hotspur's Gareth Bale in today's North London derby.

The Gunners travel to White Hart Lane to face their local rivals with a chance to close the gap between the two clubs to one point in the Premier League.

However, Campbell, who has played for both clubs in this fixture, believes that in order for Arsene Wenger's side to triumph, they must shackle Bale who has been in impressive form for Spurs this season.

"Gareth Bale has been in great form and Arsenal need to be alert to that," Campbell told The Mirror.

"They have to be ready, take him to areas where he does not want to be and where he can do no damage. And they will be aware of the threat posed on the other wing by Aaron Lennon.

"It is vital that both teams maintain their levels of concentration."

The reverse fixture ended with Arsenal winning 5-2 back in November.
