Manuel Almunia has insisted that "now is the time" for Arsenal to end their seven-year trophy drought.
The Gunners have failed to claim any silverware since beating Manchester United on penalties in the 2005 FA Cup final but Spanish stopper Almunia believes that everything is now in place for Arsene Wenger's side to end their barren spell.
"One of these years, everything has to come together and be perfect, and now is the time for Arsenal," Almunia told The Sunday Mirror.
"They've signed some good players this year, Santi Cazorla is fantastic."
Almunia signed for Watford this summer after being released from Arsenal in June.
