Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs 'doubtful for Burnley clash'

Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs is reportedly doubtful for this weekend's meeting with Burnley.

Arsenal's defensive crisis appears to have deepened following reports that Kieran Gibbs is doubtful for this weekend's Premier League meeting with Burnley.

The England left-back is struggling to overcome the damaged hip he suffered during the Gunners' 2-0 win against Sunderland last weekend, The Mirror reports.

Gibbs joins fellow defenders Laurent Koscielny and Mathieu Debuchy on the sidelines, while midfielder Jack Wilshere is said to require a fitness test ahead of the Burnley game.

Hector Bellerin is likely to be drafted into the Gunners' defence this weekend as manager Arsene Wenger is short of alternatives.
