Chris Hughton has claimed that Brighton & Hove Albion should have been given a penalty which he believes would have made a crucial difference in the FA Cup defeat to Arsenal.
A battling performance from the Seagulls was almost rewarded, but Arsenal recorded a 3-2 win thanks to goals from Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil and Tomas Rosicky.
However, Hughton was keen to underline the importance of Michael Oliver's decision to not point to the penalty spot when an Adrian Colunga cross struck Calum Chambers on the arm.
"I have looked at the handball and it is the type of penalty that I have seen given week in, week out," the Brighton boss told reporters. "My first impression was that the lad was very close, but he had his arm out and most referees will see that - even though he is close - as a penalty, because of the fact that he has his arm out.
"That would have changed things around, especially with the momentum that we had and the crowd behind us as they were.
"We gave ourselves the best opportunity to get back in the game, but you can only reflect on what you see week in and week out, and on a lot of occasions we will absolutely see that given as a penalty."
Brighton return to action against Championship rivals Blackpool on Saturday.
