Theo Walcott reportedly closes on a return to action.

Arsenal have reportedly been boosted by the news that Theo Walcott will resume training later this week.

The 23-year-old suffered a hamstring injury during the club's 0-0 draw with Chelsea in April, and was expected to miss the remainder of the season.

However, according to The Mirror, the winger could return for Arsenal's visit to West Bromwich Albion next Sunday.

It is also good news for England, with Walcott expected to be a key member of Roy Hodgson's Euro 2012 squad.
