Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that summer signing Mesut Ozil has lifted the club following Tuesday's Champions League win over Napoli.
The German international scored the Gunners' first goal and played a part in the second as they beat the Italians 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in Group F.
When asked if Ozil has added an extra dimension to the team, Wenger told the club's official website: "At the moment, yes. You know, we got so much stick at the start of the season that I am a bit cautious!
"So at the moment... of course he gave a lift to everybody around the club, and belief as well. Belief is part of success in football as well."
Arsenal return to Premier League action on Sunday when they make the trip to West Bromwich Albion.
