Arsenal charged by UEFA for 'insufficient organisation' in Galatasaray clash

Arsenal are charged by UEFA for 'insufficient organisation' following their Champions League group-match win over Galatasaray at the Emirates last night.

Arsenal have been charged by UEFA for 'insufficient organisation' in relation to last night's Champions League clash against Galatasaray at the Emirates.

Flares were thrown onto the pitch from the away end during the first half of the Gunners' 4-1 victory over the Turkish outfit.

In response to the crowd's behaviour, the European governing body has opened disciplinary proceedings against Galatasaray.

Basel and Borussia Dortmund have also been charged following the behaviour of their fans during their respective matches against Liverpool and Anderlecht on Wednesday evening.

All the cases will be dealt with on October 16.
