Manchester City's Abdul Razak joins Anzhi Makhachkala

Young Manchester City midfielder Abdul Razak signs a loan agreement with Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

Manchester City midfielder Abdul Razak has signed for Anzhi Makhachkala on a loan basis until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old joined the Citizens in 2010 from Crystal Palace, but he has only gone on to make six Premier League appearances.

As a result, he has been allowed to join Anzhi in a bid to gain more experience of starting action.

The Ivory Coast international has had previous loan spells with Portsmouth, Brighton & Hove Albion and Charlton Athletic.
