Chelsea offer Samuel Eto'o two-year deal?

Chelsea reportedly offer Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto'o a two-year contract as their pursuit of Wayne Rooney fails.

Chelsea have reportedly offered Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto'o a two-year contract.

The Blues are understood to be keen on signing the 32-year-old Cameroon international after it recently emerged that main transfer target Wayne Rooney was unlikely to leave Manchester United.

Eto'o could now move to Stamford Bridge for as little as £1.5m as Anzhi look to offload a number of their high earners, according to Goal.com.

Chelsea confirmed on Wednesday that they had completed the signing of Willian from the Russian club.
