AC Milan manager Clarence Seedorf has said that his team took a "step forward" during their Serie A match against Chievo on Saturday evening.
A double from Kaka and a strike from Mario Balotelli earned the Rossoneri a 3-0 win which saw them move up to eighth in the table.
"We have to try and get as many points as possible and keep fighting till the end of the season as there are many teams ahead of us and therefore we have to stay focused," he told the club's official website.
"The players did very well and they're growing on a physical level as well as a mental level. Winning helps a lot as far as that goes.
"Results will push us up the table an today we took a step forward. Next week we have to do the same moving forward game by game."
Milan will return to Serie A action on April 7 when they visit Genoa.
