Wigan Warriors captain Sean O'Loughlin has been sidelined for around six weeks after undergoing knee surgery.

O'Loughlin suffered the problem against Huddersfield Giants last weekend before scans revealed that he would need an operation.

The 32-year-old will definitely miss Saturday's World Club Challenge game against Brisbane Broncos.

Meanwhile, Warriors trio Dan Sarginson, George Williams and Taulima Tautai are all expected to be back in contention for the match at the DW Stadium following spells out of action.
