Sports Mole looks ahead to this Saturday's Championship clash between Yeovil Town and Birmingham City.

Yeovil Town face a Birmingham City side looking for their first win in the Championship when the Glovers host their first league clash of the season at Huish Park.

The Championship new boys can build on their strong start to the 2013-14 season following their opening day victory at The Den against Millwall.

The Glovers then followed up their triumph with another 1-0 win in the League Cup, booting Southend United out of the competition.

At the other end of the pitch, Birmingham have had a mixed start by kicking off the season with a 1-0 defeat to Watford in the Championship, but they managed to lift spirits by securing a 3-2 victory over Plymouth Argyle in the League Cup.

The home side are likely to line up with James Hayter up front, while Michael Ngoo could come into the starting lineup in place of Patrick Madden.

For the Blues, manager Lee Clark could rely on Lee Novak to provide the goal threat, with Paul Robinson holding the defensive line.

The two sides have never played against each other in a competitive league encounter.
