Leo Bonatini unsure of Wolverhampton Wanderers future

Leo Bonatini says that he wants to remain at Wolverhampton Wanderers beyond the end of the summer, but says that he currently remains unsure over his future at the club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Leo Bonatini has revealed that he remains unsure over where he will play his football beyond the end of this season.

Bonatini is currently on a season-long loan deal from Al-Hilal and the Brazilian has netted 12 goals in 36 Championship fixtures this season, despite not scoring since the start of December.

The 23-year-old has said that he wants to remain at Molineux, but suggests that neither Wolves nor Al-Hilal have indicated their plans regarding his future.

Bonatini told ESPN: "It's something I still don't know. I'm on loan here, really, until the end of this season from Al-Hilal. I don't know what will happen.

"I know what I want, I want to stay. Here's a place that I was able to adapt very well to the game style, it's a game style that I like a lot, the country is a very good country, where I adapted to be able to live.

"But I still don't know. I don't know much about my future."

Wolves sit six points clear at the top of the second-tier table, but Bonatini is currently behind Benik Afobe in the pecking order.
