Half-Time Report: Wolverhampton Wanderers, Blackpool goalless at the break

Promotion-chasing Wolverhampton Wanderers are held at 0-0 by bottom-placed Blackpool come half time in their Championship clash.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are being held 0-0 by bottom-placed Blackpool in the Championship this afternoon, with neither side being able to produce the important touch in the final third of the pitch.

A scrappy opening period saw very little in the way of chances for either team, with Blackpool's Nathan Delfouneso coming closest in the first 15 minutes with an attempt that flew both high and wide of goal.

Hosts Wolves appeared to be missing the enterprise of the absent Bakary Sako, but Nouha Dicko looked to do his best when he found James Henry, who blasted over from just outside of the box.

Henry wasn't to be moved by his miss, though, and he turned in an inch-perfect ball for Kortney Hause in the centre of the box, but he couldn't finish as he guided his headed attempt past the wrong side of the post.
