Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has reflected on his spell in charge of Southampton as the best years of his life ahead of facing his former club this afternoon.
Pochettino welcomes the Saints to White Hart Lane for the first time since he ended an 18-month stint on the South Coast to join Spurs in the summer.
Despite revealing that he holds a number of special memories from his time at Southampton, the Argentine insists that he is now fully focused on Tottenham.
"Southampton was a great period in my life - I think the best period in my life, that one year and a half," Pochettino told Sky Sports News.
"A lot of people love me from Southampton and I have very good memories. I can't explain another thing.
"When I take a decision, I always believe. After, maybe you have luck or no luck, but when you take a decision in your life you always need to be looking forward."
Kickoff in North London is scheduled for 2.05pm.
