Kyle Naughton: 'Tottenham Hotspur need to maintain form'

Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Naughton says that the club need to maintain their current run of form.

Kyle Naughton has said that Tottenham Hotspur must build on their current run of form.

Tim Sherwood's side have lost just once in their last 10 matches in the top flight, with their last win coming against Newcastle United midweek.

The defender told the club's website: "We're on a good run, we need to keep it going and with the team we've got at the moment, strength on the bench as well, it's looking good.

"[Wednesday's win] was a good team performance and it was great to get a clean sheet, that's the most important thing for the defence. You just feel more comfortable [with Hugo Lloris in goal]. You know if the opposition get past us, they then have to get past Hugo.

"He's so quick off his line and some of the shots he's saved from close range, he's like a cat across his goal. It's great to score four goals and keep a clean sheet."

Spurs travel to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk next week to continue their Europa League campaign.
