Younes Kaboul hails Mauricio Pochettino impact

Tottenham captain Younes Kaboul praises manager Mauricio Pochettino for making a quick impact on the players at the club.

Tottenham Hotspur captain Younes Kaboul has praised manager Mauricio Pochettino for the positive effect that he has had on the squad.

Pochettino joined Spurs from Southampton in the summer and has guided the club to sixth place in the Premier League table so far this season.

Kaboul believes that the Argentine's experience playing at the top level has enabled the players to develop quickly at White Hart Lane.

"Mauricio was a top defender first of all. A very classy defender," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We learn a lot from him because he has got experience at this level and we try to put in the game everything he has taught us.

"[He is helping me] to read the game. To read the game properly and to anticipate stuff. I think we have applied this already during the games."

Tottenham ended a four-game winless run in the league on Sunday with a 1-0 victory at home to Southampton.
