Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Spain could line up for Sunday's UEFA Nations League final against Croatia.

Spain manager Luis de la Fuente could be tempted to name a largely unchanged starting XI for Sunday's UEFA Nations League final against Croatia at De Kuip.

La Roja deservedly progressed to the showpiece match with a 2-1 win over Italy in Thursday's semi-final, where Joselu came off the bench to score an 88th-minute winner.

The Real Madrid-bound attacker now has three goals to show from three senior international appearances during a brilliant - if overdue - start to his Roja career, but his crucial contribution will most likely not be enough to earn him a starting role here.

Instead, 30-goal captain Alvaro Morata will expect to be given the nod up front, but Rodrigo lasted just 45 minutes on the right-hand side against Italy, so Marco Asensio may feel confident of earning a recall.

In contrast, Yeremy Pino's should be in no danger of losing his spot on the left after opening the scoring early doors against Italy, and the same can be said for Gavi in the number 10 role.

Rodri's deflected strike fell for Joselu to poke home the winning goal against Italy, and the Manchester City treble-winner should continue with Real Sociedad's Mikel Merino in the engine room.

Jesus Navas became the oldest Spain player to start a competitive fixture since 2004 on Thursday, and the 37-year-old Sevilla full-back should keep Dani Carvajal at bay again.

Fellow veteran Jordi Alba is also set to start again on the left - he and Navas boast a combined age of 71 - while Robin Le Normand gave away a penalty on his debut but will expect to link arms with Aymeric Laporte in front of Unai Simon once again.

Spain possible starting lineup: Simon; Navas, Le Normand, Laporte, Alba; Merino, Rodri; Asensio, Gavi, Pino; Morata
