Team News: Pablo Osvaldo starts on the bench for Southampton against Sunderland

Mauricio Pochettino starts with the same team that beat West Bromwich Albion for today's match against Sunderland.

New signing Pablo Osvaldo starts on the bench today for Southampton against Sunderland.

Mauricio Pochettino keeps faith with the same side that beat West Bromwich Albion, which means Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez again start in the forward positions. Young defender Calum Chambers also keeps his place in defence.

Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio makes two changes, with Modibo Diakite and Craig Gardner replacing Valentin Roberge and Cabral respectively.

Jozy Altidore gets another chance to impress up front and will be supported by Stephane Sessegnon.

Southampton: Boruc; Chambers, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw; Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Ward-Prowse, Lallana; Rodriguez, Lambert.

Sunderland: Westwood; Celustka, O'Shea, Diakite, Colback; Johnson, Larsson, Gardner, Giaccherini; Sessegnon, Altidore
