Gareth Bale in line for Real Madrid return against Celta Vigo

Zinedine Zidane confirms that Gareth Bale will return to the Real Madrid squad for Saturday's La Liga match against Celta Vigo.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that Gareth Bale will return to the squad in Saturday's La Liga match against Celta Vigo.

The Welsh forward has been out since January with a calf problem and Zidane said that the 26-year-old's return was "very good news".

"Gareth will be in the squad tomorrow," Zidane told reporters. "It is very good news and it makes us very happy - and the fans, too."

Bale, who has scored 13 goals in 17 games for Real this season, may not start this weekend but he will be hoping to be back in the lineup on Tuesday for the Champions League last-16 second leg against Roma.
