Queens Park Rangers chief executive Phil Beard reveals that Newcastle United target Loic Remy will only leave Loftus Road for the right price.

Queens Park Rangers chief executive Phil Beard has revealed that the club would be willing to sell striker Loic Remy for the right price.

The Frenchman is a known target of Newcastle United after boss Alan Pardew admitted that he was interested, but Beard has stated that he will remain an R's player until a deal that suits the club is made.

He told Fulham Chronicle: "It's realistic that everybody with a contract will stay. If clubs come in and it's the right deal for QPR and the player, we'll talk about them going somewhere else.

"Loic Remy is like everyone with a contract. He's a great character, and if we have him playing for us in the Championship he'll score you a lot of goals, but if something happens we'll look at it."

Remy joined Rangers in January and scored six goals in the Premier League.
