Barcelona have reportedly moved ahead in the race for Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford.
The 27-year-old recently stated that he is ready for a new challenge away from Old Trafford, with the likes of AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund keen on the player.
Rashford did not even make the matchday squad for Man United on Sunday afternoon, when Ruben Amorim's men secured an FA Cup success over Arsenal in North London.
The former England international has not featured for the Red Devils since a Europa League clash at the home of Viktoria Plzen on December 12.
Featuring in 24 competitive games for Man United so far during 2024-25, Rashford has found the net on seven occasions and has provided three assists.

Barcelona lead the way in Rashford race?
According to Spanish outlet SPORT, a new European powerhouse has entered the hotly-contested race for the services of Man United star Rashford this month.
The report claims that La Liga giants Barcelona are interested in securing the signature of the 27-year-old on loan for the remainder of the term.
It is understood that Barca boss Hansi Flick is a massive admirer of Rashford, with the German trying to lure the winger to the Bundesliga during his time at Bayern Munich.
However, it is believed that the Catalan club's board are split over whether the current Red Devil would be a good fit for club on and off the field.
Looking to avoid a transfer saga of sorts, Rashford has supposedly given Barcelona until Wednesday to decide whether they want to pursue a move.

Barcelona preferred but others circling around
It is said that Barcelona is currently the first choice of Rashford, who is aiming for plenty of first-team action at a new employer during the second half of the campaign.
However, if Flick's men are not forthcoming with an official approach, the 27-year-old still has plenty of offers on the table from around Europe.
AC Milan have already commenced talks with Rashford's camp over a move, whilst Bundesliga contenders Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be keen on Rashford.
There is reportedly interest from the Premier League, too, with capital-based clubs Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United sounding out a swoop for the Red Devil.
