The Football Association make contact with Queens Park Rangers over comments made by chairman Tony Fernandes about referee Mike Oliver.

The Football Association have contacted Queens Park Rangers over comments that their owner Tony Fernandes made on Twitter.

Fernandes was reacting to two penalty claims against Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton for handball, both of which were turned down my referee Mike Oliver.

"This referee is blind," Fernandes wrote on the social networking site. "2 clear handballs."

It is understood that the FA's letter acts as just a warning and that no further action will be taken against Fernandes or the club.

The match at Loftus Road ended 1-1.
