Norwich City new boy Leroy Fer admits that he is eagerly anticipating the start of the Premier League season after completing his move to the Canaries.

Leroy Fer has admitted that he cannot wait to get started after completing his move to Norwich City.

The Netherlands international signed a four-year deal with the Canaries after spending two years with FC Twente in the Eredivisie.

Fer wrote on Twitter: "So proud to be a Canary! The fans are already amazing!!! Looking forward to the 1st training and the PL-games! Feeling blessed. #ThankGod."

The 23-year-old becomes the sixth player to join Chris Hughton's side this summer following the arrivals of Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Javier Garrido, Martin Olsson, Nathan Redmond and Carlo Nash.
