FIFA president Sepp Blatter has rejected a joint offer from BBC and Sky to take part in a live televised presidential election debate.
The offer was accepted by all of the other candidates but under conditions that every candidate must take part for the debate to go ahead.
Blatter's rejection of the offer appears to have ended any possibility of a televised debate.
The Swiss is seeking a fifth term of office and will come up against Jordanian FA president Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, Dutch FA president Michael van Praag and former Real Madrid, Barcelona and Portugal winger Luis Figo.
The election is due to take place in Zurich on May 29.
