Sunday's Primeira Liga predictions including Casa Pia vs. Gil Vicente

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Primeira Liga fixtures, including Casa Pia vs. Gil Vicente.

Maritimo vs. Estoril (Sunday, 3.30pm)

Maritimo will be looking to get back to winning ways as they chase top-flight survival when they host Estoril Praia at the Estadio dos Barreiros in the Primeira Liga on Sunday afternoon.

Despite a historic victory over Sporting Lisbon a fortnight ago, the Reds and Greens are still embroiled in a relegation fight, whereas Estoril could climb to as high as eighth with a win this weekend.

We say: Maritimo 1-1 Estoril Praia

Maritimo will be disappointed that they were not able to build on that victory over Sporting Lisbon by beating Vizela, but will now relish the opportunity to drag Estoril into a relegation scrap by collecting all three points this weekend.

The Canarinhos are looking for back-to-back wins for the first time in the Primeira Liga this season, but we feel they will have to settle for a share of the spoils on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Casa Pia welcome Gil Vicente to the Portuguese capital for the latest round of Primeira Liga matches on Sunday evening.

Filipe Martins's side occupy the final Europa League Conference position, while the Gilistas remain a solitary point above the relegation playoff position.

We say: Casa Pia 2-1 Gil Vicente

On course to make their maiden appearance in a UEFA-organised competition across the club's 102-year history, we predict that Casa Pia will take one step closer to their end-of-season aim with three points at the Estadio Pina Manique on Sunday evening.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Famalicao vs. Rio Ave (Sunday, 8.30pm)

Relegation-threatened Famalicao welcome 2021-2022 Liga Portugal 2 winners Rio Ave to the Estadio Municipal 22 de Junho on Saturday.

Joao Pedro Sousa's side sit three points above the relegation playoff position. Meanwhile, Rio Grande have work to do to secure a return to the shores of continental football for the first time since participating in the UEFA Europa League in the 2020-21 campaign.

We say: Famalicao 2-1 Rio Ave

After registering four home victories out of seven across the current 2022-23 Primeira Liga campaign, we predict that Famalicao will continue their rich vein of form in front of their supporters on Sunday evening.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
