Manchester United 'unwilling to pay over £90m for Gareth Bale'

Manchester United are reportedly unwilling to pay more than £90m for Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale.

Manchester United are unwilling to pay more than £90m for Gareth Bale if Real Madrid opt to sell the player, according to a report.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has previously expressed his admiration for the Wales international, fueling rumours of a summer bid.

According to Diario Gol, Real would aim to make a significant profit on the £86m they paid for Bale 2013, but United are not willing to budge on their valuation.

Previous reports suggested that the Welshman could depart the La Liga giants if they are successful in their pursuit of AS Monaco ace Kylian Mbappe.

Mourinho is said to have urged United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to break the bank with a £100m offer for Bale, who earns around around £385,000 a week in Spain.

Meanwhile, Bale's former club Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a summer bid for him.
