Manchester United are believed to have submitted an offer for Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado.
Barcelona have apparently been in talks with the Colombian winger, who shone for his country during their run to the World Cup quarter-finals in Brazil this summer.
United have also been monitoring his availability, although Fiorentina insisted last week that they had yet to receive an offer for the 26-year-old, who scored 11 goals in 32 Serie A games last season.
Reports in Italy suggest that has now changed, with United having allegedly made a firm bid for Cuadrado, who is valued at around £30m, as Louis van Gaal looks to improve his wide options at Old Trafford.
Cuadrado joined Fiorentina permanently in 2013 after impressing throughout a loan spell from Lecce.
