Ryan Giggs won't "take notice" of 600th Premier League appearance

Ryan Giggs says that he is more interested in getting three points for Manchester United than making his 600th Premier League appearance.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has claimed that he is more interested in grabbing three points for the Red Devils than making his 600th Premier League appearance.

The 38-year-old will reach a new landmark if he plays in Sir Alex Ferguson's side against Wigan Athletic at Old Trafford on Saturday.

"When it does happen, getting to 600 Premier League games will be something I'm proud of," BBC Sport quotes Giggs as saying.

"It's a great achievement. But if I'm honest I don't really take too much notice of things like that. Hopefully I can celebrate it with a win, that's the most important thing."

The former Wales international has also claimed that United are determined to win back the English title this season.
