Manchester United's Anthony Martial: 'No price tag pressure'

Manchester United striker Anthony Martial says that he does not feel "any extra pressure", despite the fact that he may end up costing the club £58m.

Anthony Martial has insisted that he has not felt any added pressure by the money that Manchester United shelled out to secure his services from Monaco last summer.

With add-ons, the 20-year-old may end up costing the Red Devils a total of £58m.

However, having found the net 15 times so far during his debut campaign, the youngster stressed that the large financial outlay has never crossed his mind.

"I never feel any extra pressure at all," the France international told MUTV.

"The only pressure I feel is the pressure I put on myself to do well and to work hard throughout the season to help the team. That's what drives me on. I think in that respect [the price tag] has not affected me."

Martial was speaking after his first goal in United colours - on debut against Liverpool last September - was voted the club's Goal of the Season.
