'Angry fans' waited to confront Manchester United squad at airport

A group of angry Manchester United fans waited to confront the squad at Bournemouth Airport on Saturday after the 2-1 loss to the Cherries.

A group of angry Manchester United fans reportedly waited at Bournemouth Airport on Saturday to confront the team after their 2-1 loss to the Premier League newcomers.

Goals from Junior Stanislas and Joshua King helped the hosts to all three points at Dean Court, leaving Louis van Gaal's men five games without a win.

According to Manchester Evening News, a group of frustrated supporters decided to travel to the airport to air their grievances over the display, but were left even more disappointed when the team bus drove straight past them. The players were instead dropped off on the tarmac right next to their plane back to Manchester.

United, who sit three points clear in fourth in the table, welcome struggling newcomers Norwich City to Old Trafford on Saturday.
