Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have reportedly shared over £100m for their Champions League exploits last season.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea reportedly shared over £100m for their Champions League exploits last season.

The last European campaign was the first time that no club from England had reached the quarter-finals in eight years as City and Chelsea were eliminated at the group stage.

Arsenal were beaten by eventual winners Bayern Munich, while United were dumped out by Real Madrid in their respective last-16 ties.

However, despite the performances, the four teams still shared a sum of £108m, according to the Daily Mail.

United took the lion's share of the distribution as they pocketed £30.5m, while City received £24.7m for only their second ever Champions League campaign.

Both the Gunners and the Blues earned around £26m each for their participation in Europe's premier competition, with all four sides qualifying for next season's campaign.
