How Juventus could line up against Manchester United

Sports Mole looks at how Juventus could line up for Tuesday's Champions League clash with Manchester United, when Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford.

All eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo when Juventus visit Old Trafford on Tuesday night to take on his former club and Champions League Group H rivals Manchester United.

The Italian giants top the standings with maximum points after two games and could take a significant stride towards qualification for the last 16 with another victory in midweek.

Juve saw their perfect start to the season ended at the weekend, though, as their 10-game winning streak was halted by a 1-1 draw with Genoa.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Massimiliano Allegri could line his side up in an attempt to return to winning ways.

Out: Sami Khedira (thigh), Emre Can (thyroid), Daniele Rugani (rib)
Doubtful: None

Ronaldo will enjoy star billing on his return to Old Trafford, where he is expected to be greeted warmly having scored 118 goals in 292 appearances with the club.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is expected to be joined in attack by Paulo Dybala, who was only used off the bench at the weekend amid concerns over a knee injury.

Dybala scored a hat-trick in Ronaldo's absence during Juve's last Champions League outing, and he will start in a front three along with Mario Mandzukic.

Former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can may need surgery on a thyroid problem and so will not be involved in this match, but Giorgio Chiellini should return having been rested at the weekend.

Alex Sandro - who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the past - should also start at left-back.
